PROJECT:
“ALL ABOUT EACH OTHER”
During all this year at 1st ESO
we’re doing a complementary subject called
eTwinning. eTwinning is the word for the
IT platform where Primary and Secondary schools from
all over Europe exchange knowlegde between them.
The eTwinning subject
consists of a project that combines an intensive use
of technology (such as blogs, wiki, forums, chat,
Google doc, Image galleries, video, podcast,
Powerpoint, etc.) and the use of the English
language in exchange with students from other
European countries.
The schools we’re in exchange with
are ST. MARY OF ALL SAINTS SCHOOL from the UK,
SZKOLA PODSTAWOWA INTEGRACYJNA NR. 8 from Poland
and ZÁKLADNÍ SKOLA UNESCO from the Chech Republic.
So far we’ve worked with the topics
of introducing ourselves, Castanyada/Halloween/autumn
traditions, Christmas and family, our school, and
our country and Barcelona. In this last topic,
students from Sagrada Família have worked together
in small groups and have created some Powerpoint
presentations explaining about Spain, our main
cities, monuments, traditions, etc.
Below you
have some of the Presentations from 1st
ESO students which are on the eTwinning platform, in
order to explain to our colleagues from other
countries about our own.
