Thanksgiving is a national holiday in the USA. Americans celebrate Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November. It’s a time when families have a big meal together. They have turkey with corn and a wonderful pumpkin pie.

They give thanks for what they have. 

They are big parades in the streets.

People have fun.

At school we play a game.

We create a table decoration.

We learn this beautiful poem.

Thank you for the world so sweet,

      Thank you for the food we eat.

Thank you for  the birds that sing,

      Thank you God for everything.
