We learn about Pancake Day
Pancake Day is an old English festival. On this day,
always a Tuesday, people make pancakes for their
lunch or dinner. In some towns in England there is a
big pancake race. You cannot drop the pancake. The
winner is the first person to cross the line with
their pancake in the pan. |

Can we make pancakes?
Oh, I’m a pancake fan.
We’ve got eggs and flour

And milk – hurray, we can!

|
Mix them together
As quickly as you can.
Beat it, beat it, beat it
And put it in the pan. |
|
| |
 |
Toss it up!
A little bit of lemon,
Toss it up!
A little bit of sugar,
Roll it up and take a bite.
We’re having pancakes tonight!
