We learn about Bonfire Night

    Bonfire Night is on the 5^th of November. There are a lot of fireworks in the sky. People cook potatoes in the bonfire. They celebrate the defeat of Guy Fawkes

        We learn a Chant

          It’s Bonfire Night.

          A penny for the guy!

          Rockets and fireworks

          Light up the sky.

          It’s Bonfire Night.

          Fires everywhere!

          Rockets and fireworks

          Fly through the air.

We make a rocket  

We also learn some rules about what to do and what not to to with fireworks.

FIREWORK SAFETY RULES

Read and follow the instructions.                   Don’t play with fireworks.

Keep fireworks in a strong box.                      Don’t put fireworks in your pockets.

Take one firework at a time.                           Don’t take fireworks near a fire.

Ask an adult to light your fireworks.                Don’t throw fireworks at other people.
