Bonfire
Night or Guy Fawkes is a popular British Festival.
It is on 5th November. People celebrate
the defeat of Guy Fawkes. There are fireworks and
bonfires. Children make a Guy from old clothes and
newspapers. They put it on the top of the bonfire.
People cook potatoes on the bonfire. Bonfire Night
is lots of fun but it can be dangerous so ...
Remember! Don’t play with fireworks.
At school we learn about this festival. We watch a
video, we learn a chant and we draw Bonfire Night
following these instructions:
1.
Make divisions in a rectangle.
2.
Colour each space with a different colour.
(Don’t use white or black). You need wax colours.
3.
Then cover the rectangle with black. (wax
colour).
4.
Finally, draw fireworks and bonfires using a
toohstick.
You´ll get a multicoloured picture!!!
